In an exclusive interview with Sharpstone, we take you behind the scenes into Jayde’s beautiful home, the founder of a luxurious loungewear brand. Find out why Jayde chose the two different stones and how she found the Sharpstone experience. From her first initial contact with us, Jayde has added to her order not just once but a few times!

Just for fun, last year, we had a vote on Instagram for our follower’s favourite project of the year. It was narrowed down to just 4 and Jayde’s kitchen was the winner!

Who or what was your inspiration behind the kitchen design? 

Jayde – Very much going for the latest trends in home design, I opted for a clean and clinical look with the added brass. I wanted to create a family kitchen that would be loved for many years and could change with the seasons while having a complementary backdrop.

Why did you choose to visit Sharpstone?

Jayde – I went down to Sharpstone, I was recommended by a friend. I wasn’t necessarily going to get my worktops from there but when I met Paul the salesman, honestly he was amazing. He took us around the showroom and there was so much to choose from but I instantly fell in love with the one that I chose. Since ordering I’ve added to my order – a splashback and coffee table.

What attracted you to these specific stones?

Jayde – So, I went for the Calacatta worktops throughout the kitchen and when Sharpstone came back to fit it all, I loved it. My splashback wasn’t done and I was going for the mirrored look. I returned to Sharpstone to speak about my dining room table and fell in love with the marble they had on show there. Paul said it was a brand new marble in and it looked really lovely and I absolutely loved it, so I went with it! It was a bit of a gamble as it’s different to the worktops, but it works perfectly and now I am just waiting for my dining room table to be delivered.

How did you find the experience of it being fitted?

Jayde – Everything has been seamless throughout the process and I could have them back every single day and I am sure my order would get bigger and bigger.

Is there anything else you’d like to say about Sharpstone?

Jayde – Honestly, Sharpstone came on the day they said, on time and all the boys worked great, they didn’t make a mess they were fantastic. It was an easy experience and I would definitely recommend them, time and time again.

As promised my love heart was delivered, such a lovely touch!
