This time we’re inside Jess Wright’s Kitchen. Jess decided to choose Sharpstone to fabricate and fit her new kitchen worktops as well as her media wall unit.

In an exclusive interview with Sharpstone, we take you behind the scenes into the stunning kitchen of the one and only TOWIE star, Jess Wright. Find out why she chose these two particular stones and how she found the Sharpstone experience.

Who or what was your inspiration behind the kitchen design? 

Jess – The kitchen is the hub of the home. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, cooking, and spending time with family and for me, it is the most important part of the home. My style is a real mix, I love traditional but with a modern glowing edge, particularly brass inlays, and jazzy stones that bring out a modern twist.

Why did you choose to visit Sharpstone?

Jess – I chose to visit Sharpstone because they are a local company and I had heard a bit about them. I just love the variety of stones that they have to offer. We took a visit to the showroom and I was in complete awe of the amount of stone available, there was stone everywhere. There were so many different colours and patterns and I was kind of looking for something specific and I found it there as well, so it was perfect.

What attracted you to these specific stones?

Jess – We were looking for more of a bronze vein in the worktop, that would be a marble piece but not too fussy. We went back and forth with what we were going to choose as it’s such a big decision to choose stone for the home. Versilia quartz was chosen for the worktop.

Sharpstone helped in finding me a stone that met my needs, something that was a subtle bronze vein on the worktops and then we wanted a bookmatched pattern on the splashback which was perfect. I saw the stone and I fell in love. They had it available in matte or gloss, we went for matte which I never thought I would have done, but I am obsessed with it. Ascale Macchia Vecchia Gold Porcelain was chosen for the splashback.

They had a great selection and I was just really pleased to see it all.

How did you find the experience of it being fitted?

Jess – The experience of it being fitted was amazing. They were so quick and efficient and they fitted it all in one day with their team. All within a few hours so for me, that was incredible and couldn’t believe how it fitted so well as I didn’t know about the templating process before. So they just turned up with it fitting perfectly.

We had no issues and I was really pleased with how they fitted it.

Is there anything else you’d like to say about Sharpstone?

Jess – Sharpstone are an amazing choice to get stone for your kitchen, bar or anything it might be. We even extended the stone to our TV media wall. We have a lot of the Sharpstone stone in our home and it’s a great place to go. Everyone is so friendly and they have such a huge choice of stone – you won’t be disappointed.
